Kait Fortunato Greenberg (REBEL Dietitian) is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist in private practice at Rebecca Bitzer and Associates (RBA) and Empowered Eating, LLC since 2009.
Kait works with the non-dieting approach called TASTE short for Taste the Sweet Rebellion to help clients with intuitive eating while working with clients to form a healthy relationship with food. Kait was frustrated seeing client after client coming into the office, feeling trapped in “diet prison” and seeing how diets affected a client’s health, self-esteem, lifestyle and happiness. She is an expert meal planner and helps individual clients and families prioritize health and self-care without letting food get in the way of what really matters. Kait works with clients to explore weight and diet history and help find a solution that will yield lifelong results in health and happiness! She helps clients REBEL against the dieting industry by working with clients to promote health at every size (HAES). Kait is passionate about helping clients find ways to fit in their favorite foods and end feelings of food guilt. She prides herself on being research based and adapting her work to the individual’s diagnosis and health concerns while making the information easy to digest and implement.
She works hard to spread the non-dieting message on social media, encouraging people to not let food get in the way of what truly matters in their life and to change the message they hear and start loving themselves for who they are. Kait speaks nationally on the non-dieting approach, based on the research in her workbook, “Taste the Sweet REBELLION” She is an active blogger reaching thousands of readers via her blogs on www.empoweredeatingblog.com, rbitzer.com, wtop.com, Washingtonian.com, and stackmedia.com.
